Avair Owner Shawn Minton has been a stylist for almost 20 years. In that time, she has seen many styles and trends come and go but the one constant she knows is that clients need individualized styles to meet their daily needs. In addition to her required continuing education, Shawn stays current on all the latest styles by attending at least 3-4 professional trade shows annually, both national and international. Specializing in foiling, coloring and cutting, Shawn realizes the importance of client satisfaction.

Norma McMillan, hair stylist, has recently joined the Avair staff, bringing 30 years of experience in the salon industry. She has owned her own salon, has worked with Tressa as a technical specialist (teaching their perming system), and for two years has taught cosmetology at Columbus Technical College. Norma specializes in precision haircutting, clipper cutting, conventional and spiral perming, foiling, coloring, and up dos. She attends as many hair shows as possible to stay on top of the latest trends in the industry.

Master Cosmetologist Eva Gould has recently joined the Avair staff with 33 years of experience in the salon industry. Not only is she a hairstylist, she has been a nail technician
for 20 years. She has owned two salons herself in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Tampa, Florida. She worked with Don Shaw
in Atlanta as a platform artist and received several awards while in Tampa.

Master Cosmetologist Brenda Tyson has been a stylist for
15 years. Most of those years have been affiliated with the staff in this salon. Brenda specializes in cutting, specialty colors, corrective colors, specialty foiling techniques,
perming techniques, chemical straightening and styling as well as nail services. Brenda has always believed in having
an educated understanding of all aspects in this industry.
She attends at least two trade shows a year to stay up-to-date on all styles and techniques. Brenda has a college education in a healthcare-related field and has knowledge in the area of special needs clients.

Ratha Kosal or “Sros” moved from Cambodia about a year ago and practiced as a stylist for two years with virtually no knowledge of the English language. Since then she has learned to speak English fluently aiding in the advancement of her experience and knowledge as a cosmetologist. A dedicated member of the aesthetic industry, Sros is currently enrolled at Rivertown School of Beauty expounding upon the latest styles and techniques taught in her field today.

Lesley Beard is a nationally certified massage therapist who has been practicing for over 11 years. She graduated from the Mountain State School of Massage in Charleston, West Virginia, and is a member of the National Massage Therapy Association. Lesley is highly proficient in Swedish, deep tissue, pregnancy, chair, stone and medical massage, as well as exceptionally skilled in reflexology. In addition to massage techniques, Lesley has dedicated herself to expanding her skills in a variety of spa modalities including herbal slimming body wraps, salt glows, mud wraps, paraffin wraps, and hydro therapies.

Abby Pallister is a licensed massage therapist. She has been practicing for 4 years and graduated from Ashmead College of Massage Therapy in Tacoma, Washington. Abby
is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association along with the National Massage Therapy Association. Abby specializes in deep tissue massage, medical massage, sports massage, pregnancy massage and Swedish massage, as well as spa treatments. In Seattle, she worked all 4 years for local chiropractors.
